I listened to these speakers standing up and thought they were pretty
good. Then, I sat down in the front of them and POW, I was at a live
concert! The imaging was amazing, like 3d for the ears and chewy. I
watched as others sat down, got in the zone and smiles hit their face.
These guys have done their homework and the units are really great
looking to boot. If you get a chance, try them out. Posted Wed Feb 7, 2007, 5:26 PM — By Bob
I had the opportunity to review these speakers during three
separate visits to their suite. This system is unreal! I could not get
over the "being at a live performance" quality of sound. The depth and
staging literally blew me away. The female jazz vocalist was superb.
They played a CD cut of a chorale singing in a stone cathedral that was
so real that I could visualize the depth of the stone chamber they
performed in. By the way, on the last day I asked to put two chairs
together side by side and I was amazed that the sound remained true. I
don't think it's just for bachelors but if it were it would be worth
the experience. Posted Sun Jan21, 2007, 9:43 PM — By Medi Cususa
Dear Dennis,
When I had a chance to review your new speaker system, COPERNICUS II, I did so after spending 10 days in several of the better recording studios in Nashville, TN. My ears were conditioned to hearing “studio quality” audio generated with Neumann microphones, Pro Tools HD interface and Apple MacPro computers, recorded and mixed in 24/96. I had not expected to hear the same “studio quality” sound of our master recordings when played through COPERNICUS II. Yet, once the music started, I heard a rich sound that offered a defined “soundstage” presence. I noticed clarity and attention to detail not heard even during our Nashville sessions. Prior to hearing the bass notes was the sound of fingers touching the bass strings… and, before hearing the thunder of drums was the air pressure of the drummer’s sticks as they pass by the microphone on the way to the drumhead. Normally, these sounds are lost on most audiophile systems but not COPERNICUS II. For audiophiles, COPERNICUS II offers attention to not only the music sound but how it was played and recorded. COPERNICUS II takes you to the studio and gives you a front row seat to hear the music, as it is being performed and produced.
Sincerely,
Joe Ray Skrha, Kenai, Alaska
